Essie and the her staff made my dad feel quite welcome even though he was struggling with needing the extra help. He could be a cantankerous old man and who talked often and complained even more. But he did always speak highly of the staff and Essie for their compassion and attentive care.

At age 83, my mother’s medical and physical needs became too demanding for my dad to continue to care for her at their home. My family had many questions, high level fears and some doubts that my mother would be cared for with the TLC she deserved. We visited several places with no assurance in our hearts from them. Then, we found Nestra Adult Quality Care. After visiting with Ese, the owner/head nurse and her care team, we knew we found a gem of a place. Nestra is a boutique type of assisted living residence providing full time/24 hour care, home cooked meals, individual guest rooms and general living/gathering areas for the residents to socialize. The care team treats each resident as if they are family and creates an environment where the residents can maintain their dignity. To the very end, my family felt my mother was safe and secure, well taken care of and we trusted the care team at all times. Thank you!!

My mother has dementia. We needed a higher level of care than just a senior living facility. We found this opportunity to provide her with quality care in a home setting. We have been very pleased with her care at Nestra. Any change in mom’s behavior or condition is immediately brought to our attention. I actually brag about her care to others that I meet.

I cannot say enough good things about Ese and the aids that work for her taking care of our loved ones. The home is so very nice and it feels like home which was so important to me that my mom felt comfortable under a difficult situation. My mom was 96 and had lived independently until the last few months of her life. Ese and her employees did everything possible to make sure my mom was comfortable and her needs met. She would have never received this level of care in a rest home where the number of patients to aids was much greater. I was so thankful that we found this place and I guess my highest compliment would be that if I was in the same situation with another loved one I would not hesitate to bring them to this home for care. I still think of my mom every day and I’m so thankful for Ese and her hard working employees that helped make my mom’s last days as good as possible! God Bless you Ese!!!

We loved Nestra and Ms. Esse. She took care of my mom and my sister in their final years. They were always attentive, and caring. Saved my sisters life several times. Nestra care is top notch, residents feel like family and family is treated like family. The location is clean, smells clean, fresh food daily, food prepared on grounds, food preferences accepted, meds administered, laundry and cleaning provided, plus 24 hour care. Outside nursing care and pt staff members visited the house frequently. Many of my family visited and loved the qualify of the care. Ms Essie’s place is the best there is. Nestra is a wonderful care home. The owner is an RN, very caring, knowledgeable and dependable. My mother lived there for 2 1/2 years before her death. Every need, physical and emotional was taken care of. My mother-in-law has now been there for 9 months. The owner and caregivers are all wonderful, caring and capable. I highly recommend this care home.
